Miller originally was charged with molesting two boys at Guardian Angel Church in Pacoima, but a third person has come forward, claiming he also was a victim, said Deputy District Attorney Samuel Dordulian. Miller now faces 24 counts of lewd acts with children.

``We had been interviewing numerous people involved with the case, and we discovered there was another victim,'' Dordulian said. ``He agreed to talk to us and has been added to the criminal complaint against Miller.''

Miller's arraignment A criminal proceeding at which the defendant is officially called before a court of competent jurisdiction, informed of the offense charged in the complaint, information, indictment, or other charging document, and asked to enter a plea of guilty, not guilty, or as otherwise permitted  was postponed Wednesday until March 18 so his attorney can review the new charges.

Miller was arrested Dec. 10 at his Oxnard mobile home and subsequently charged with 19 felony counts accusing him of molesting two boys over a 12-year period.

Miller, who retired from the priesthood in 1997, is free on $50,000 bail, which was provided by supporters from Guardian Angel. The supporters have backed up the bail with $500,000 worth of property.
