FIVE ARE ARRESTED IN HOME BURGLARY.

``They just pulled up and started taking things from inside and outside of the house,'' said Deputy Mark Round of the Lancaster sheriff's station.

Deputies arrived less than four minutes after the neighbors' call and took all five into custody without incident. They were booked on suspicion of burglary burglary, at common law, the breaking and entering of a dwelling house of another at night with the intent to commit a felony, whether the intent is carried out or not.  and were being held at the Lancaster sheriff's station's jail.

Investigators impounded the two cars.

The suspects were a 61-year-old ex-convict with prior convictions for burglary, theft and drugs; three people in their 50s and a 35-year-old man. Four of them have recent arrests for offenses ranging from hit and run to possession of narcotics narcotics n. 1) techinically, drugs which dull the senses. 2) a popular generic term for drugs which cannot be legally possessed, sold, or transported except for medicinal uses for which a physician or dentist's prescription is required. , records show.

``The age of four of the suspects makes this a little unusual,'' Round said.

All five were booked on suspicion of burglary, and four of them on warrants for unrelated offenses. Four of them had got out of jail within the last two months, one of them last week.
