Canyon High football standouts Nate Longshore Nate Longshore (born June 30, 1986 in Canyon Country, California, U.S.) is an American football quarterback for the California Golden Bears. --Hart High's JV soccer team was so excited after beating Camarillo 4-1 to win the annual Las Virgenes Classic tournament in Calabasas last week that the boys decided to have a rainy mud bath in the middle of the field. Even coaches Louis Romero and Robert Ramirez got down and dirty, as Hart finished the tournament 5-0 and outscored its opponents 23-3.

--The annual Hart High baseball alumni game is scheduled for Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at Hart.

LeMar, a baseball player who had survived severe burns suffered in a physics-class accident at Hart, died in a 2001 head-on car collision with a drunken driver.
