FIT AMERICA Teams Up With NASCAR's No. 77 Jasper Engines Ford.

FIT AMERICA, the all-natural weight loss program, announced Friday that it has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Jasper Motorsports Jasper Motorsports is a former NASCAR Winston Cup/NEXTEL Cup team. It was owned by a variety owners including D.K. Ulrich and Doug Bawel. 1970s-1980s

FIT AMERICA has been granted sponsorship rights for the No. 77 NASCAR NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing), organization that sanctions American stock-car races, est. 1948. It held its first race in Daytona Beach, Fla. , Winston Cup team for four races during the 1999 season. The sponsorship will be in effect for the entire 2000 season.

Debi Davis, founder of FIT AMERICA made the announcement from the company's headquarters in Deerfield Beach. "We are excited about our relationship with Robert Pressley and the entire Jasper Motorsports racing organization," said Davis. "We believe FIT AMERICA will receive an enormous benefit from our involvement in the NASCAR Winston Cup series and are 100 percent committed to the sport and the No. 77 team."

So how did the founder of a company that was recently recognized by Working Women Magazine as one of the top 500 women-run businesses in America finally decide on which NASCAR team to work with?

"During one of our meetings, Doug and I discovered that we both have been honored by Ernst and Young as Entrepreneurs of the Year from our home states. That coincidence forged a unique bond between us that I felt gave us a collective business edge." Bawel was honored in 1998 from Indiana and Davis from Florida in 1999.

FIT AMERICA plans to utilize their sponsorship to identify prospective franchise owners, to attract new customers to their retail locations and to expand the company's brand recognition.

FIT AMERICA's all natural weight loss and wellness products are sold at retail locations in 17 states nationwide. There are currently 74 franchise stores in operation with additional stores in Arizona, North Carolina North Carolina, state in the SE United States.
