Marcia Cross, 45 SMOCK-STYLE dresses and tops can easily look matronly. Light, airy fabrics in solid colours are the most figure-friendly. This Monsoon smock has a tie just under the bust, which will stop it looking like a tent. Copy Marcia's uncomplicated weekend look, by layering over bootcut jeans and leg-lengthening wedges. Iman, 51 IMAN'S fabulous sequinned skirt is a great party piece. Team it with a simple silk top for understated glamour that will never date. Keep accessories minimal to make sure the look is classy, not flashy. Elle Macpherson, 44 ELLE'S effortless, classic style never lets her down. Relaxed, wide leg, tailored trousers are a holiday essential. Dress them down with layers of loose, cool cotton (tight and white is never a good look) and flat sandals. A tailored waistcoat like Elle's is a great on-trend piece to update your white basics. CAPTION(S): Julianne Moore; Vintage bootcut jeans, pounds 15 @ Dorothy Perkins; Green chiffon kaftan kaf·tan n.
