FIRST LADY TO RECEIVE HUMPRHEY AWARD FROM MARILYN CARLSON NELSON ON SEPT. 17

 MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton will receive the Hubert H. Humprhey plaque at the completion of the First Lady's address as a "Distinguished Carlson Lecturer" on the stage of the University's Northrop Auditorium at approximately 1:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17.
 Presenting the award will be Marilyn Carlson Nelson, vice chair, Carlson Companies. Clinton will be at Northrop as a participant in the "Health Care Summit '93 National Proposals, Minnesota Perspectives" conference.
 Clinton will be the 35th "Distinguished Carlson Lecturer." This series of lectures are held under the auspices of the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs with funds provided by the Carlson Companies. More than 100,000 people have attended these Carlson Lectures since the series began in 1980. They are free and open, by ticket, to the general public and students.
