FIRMS ATTRIBUTE STOCKS' SLIDE TO BROKERAGE FIRM DIFFICULTIES.

Officials with a Westlake Village software firm and a Studio City deli say a steep drop in their companies' stock prices over the past 10 days are tied to the problems of a Century City brokerage firm that took the companies public.
