 FIRM UNCOVERS MARKET FOR PERSONALIZED CONDOMS
 SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Don MacLeod, a sales


representative for Unified Marketing, a sales-promotion and premium company in Southfield, thought he could increase sales for his company by advertising the ability to print a company name or logo on anything.
 What he didn't anticipate was an interest, especially on campuses, bars and restaurants, for personalized condoms.
 "We ran an ad in a bi-weekly entertainment publication," MacLeod said. "To catch the attention of readers, I said, 'We'll print your name on anything you want, including condoms, T-shirts, hats, jackets, etc.' Our phone has been ringing off the hook with orders for the condoms from fraternities, rock bands and bars."
 According to the Southfield sales rep, names, logos and messages are adhered to the condom packages similar to names on matchbook covers.
 "We're getting calls from men and women," he related. "To be honest, I ran the word condom as a lark, but with all the interest in safe sex, the response has been amazing."
