FIREFIGHTERS SHOW FORCE TO STOP BLAZE BATTLING FLAMES, WIND.

CASTAIC -- A small brush fire burned Wednesday in Castaic, but because of high winds, more than 200 firefighters battled the blaze on the ground and in the air to keep it from spreading.

About 10 acres burned near The Old Road south of Parker Road with flames fanned by 20 mph winds. Gusts made it tough for water-dropping helicopters, Los Angeles County Fire Department Not to be confused with Los Angeles Fire Department.
