FIREFIGHTER MEMORIAL HELP SOUGHT.

SIMI VALLEY Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  -- Firefighters fanned out across Ventura County this weekend to collect donations for the Fallen Firefighter Memorial planned for the Ventura County Government Center. The memorial will honor firefighters who died in the line of duty In the Line of Duty may refer to:

, including 28 from Ventura, Ventura County, the U.S. Forest Service and the Ventura County Federal Fire Agency. Firefighters hope to raise a total of $250,000. Contributions are tax-deductible, and donations of $500 or more will receive permanent recognition at the memorial site. Trevor Johnson Trevor Johnson (born February 26, 1981 in Gordon, Nebraska) is an American football player who currently plays defensive end for the St. Louis Rams.
