FINAL CALL IS 'FIRST ON THE STREET' WITH CIRCLE K CONVENIENCE STORES
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Final Call, the nation's first consumer alcohol breath tester manufactured by U.S. Alcohol Testing of America Inc. (USAT) (AMEX: AAA), has been distributed more than 2,700 Circle K convenience stores through their "First On the Street" program.
The McLane Co. Inc. will be distributing Final Call to all Circle K stores through its nine distribution centers across the country throughout the month of June.
Final Call is endorsed by the National Troopers Coalition and is designed for social drinkers who often do not know when they are intoxicated and their driving may be impaired.
The Final Call kit consists of a glass tube filled with chemically treated crystals and a balloon that regulates the breath volume sample. Taking the test is simple. Ten minutes after your last drink, fully inflate the balloon with two or more deep breaths and attach the balloon to the tube allowing the "breath" to flow through the tube for at least one minute. After two minutes, if alcohol is present, the yellow bands turn green indicating whether or not it is safe to drive. One green band indicates driving may be impaired ... two or more green bands indicate that it is not safe to drive.
 Final Call's suggested retail prices are: Single Package - $2.49; Pack of Five - $11.50; and a Party Pack (10) -- $21.99.
"Every year 22,000 people are killed or injured in alcohol- related accidents on our nation's highways. USAT applauds Circle K for their efforts to help save lives and minimize drunken driving," commented James C. Witham, USAT president.
In addition to Final Call, USAT manufactures screening and evidential blood alcohol breath testing devices for use by law enforcement agencies, correctional facilities, industries, on-premise liquor establishments and alcohol treatment centers. USAT is listed on the American Stock Exchange, ticker symbol AAA.
