A Creole dish consisting of rice that has been cooked with shrimp, oysters, ham, or chicken and seasoned with spices and herbs. [Louisiana French, from Provençal jambalaia. to lemon-lime ice cream will be participating in Thursday's A Taste of Downtown Burbank to benefit the YMCA's scholarship fund. The event is in its sixth year but is bigger than it was in the past, with at least 23 eateries signed on, compared with eight last year. And while last year's walking gourmets went into the restaurants to sample their food, those partaking of samples this year will be visiting booths on the street. ``They have volunteered their time and their food,'' said Bryan Madden, who heads the Burbank Community YMCA YMCA in full Young Men's Christian Association Nonsectarian, nonpolitical Christian lay movement that aims to develop high standards of Christian character among its members. . ``They really want to work with us, they really want a good community and that's part of it.'' The restaurant was started in 1985 by attorneys Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax in Beverly Hills, California, , Romano's Macaroni Grill Macaroni Grill (also known as Romano's Macaroni Grill) is a chain of Italian food casual dining restaurants in the US and Canada. The chain and brand name is owned by Brinker International. , Gordon Biersch, Ben & Jerry's and the Burbank Bar and Grill. Ben & Jerry's will offer lemon-lime ice cream, and the Burbank Bar and Grill will have jambalaya. The Burbank Community YMCA raised more than $3,000 from last year's event. Some of that goes for scholarships for the children who attend the center's day care program. Organizers expect 500 to 800 people to attend this year's event.
