Impressive espionage thriller from John Boorman, with plenty of
humour thrown in for good measure. Pierce Brosnan (right) stars as a spy
who, following an ill-advised liaison with an ambassador's lover,
is given a new assignment in Panama as punishment. However, it's
not long before he comes up with a cunning plan to make the most of his
position - and convinces a local tailor with dubious connections to help
him uncover information about the canal. A must see, with stellar
