FILM OF THE DAY; Miami Vice (Sky Movies Premiere, 8pm).Die-hard fans of the 1980s TV series may be a little disappointed - apart from the setting and the characters' names, the film and the show have little in common. However, if you can forget about Don Johnson and his pastel suits, this is a stylish, atmospheric thriller in its own right. Jamie Foxx Jamie Foxx (born December 13, 1967) is an American actor, singer, and stand-up comic. Foxx is possibly best-known for his performance of musician Ray Charles in Ray, and for his collaborations with director Michael Mann. and Colin Farrell (both right) star as Tubbs and Crockett, two detectives who go undercover to infiltrate a drugs cartel. Unfortunately, as they take on their new identities, at least one of the duo finds it hard to remember where his loyalties lie.
