This weekend's offerings include: ``Who's the Caboose,'' a ``faux documentary'' about a struggling actress in Los Angeles and the hometown boyfriend who follows her to the coast to ruin her dreams; ``Yidl in the Middle,'' about growing up Jewish in Iowa; and ``Jews and Buddhism,'' a documentary narrated by Sharon Stone about the thousands of American Jews American Jews, or Jewish Americans, are American citizens or resident aliens who were born into the Jewish community or who have converted to Judaism. In the City of Angels Those who believe the millennium will bring an end to civilization may have their fears enforced or allayed at the City of Angels Film Festival, whose theme is ``Embracing Apocalypse: Visions of Faith and Fear.'' Poland's filmmakers The Lodz Film School counts among its graduates nearly all of Poland's top filmmakers, including Roman Polanski, Andrzej Wajda Noun 1. Don't run out for popcorn - don't blink, for that matter - or you'll miss a big portion of some of these works. Two of Polanski's films have a running time of just two minutes. Many of the directors, excepting the fugitive Polanski, of course, will be on hand to discuss the films. Screenings will be held at UCLA's James Bridges Theater on Hilgard Avenue near Sunset Boulevard on the northeast corner of the campus.
