FILL UP YOUR VIEWING PLATE WITH THANKSGIVING DAY TV.

If you're not on Thanksgiving Day kitchen duty, there are a few things worth checking out on the tube. That is, besides the dull pro sports and college games being offered (unless you're waiting for the next NBA NBA

At 1 p.m., after pro football (assuming there isn't a fistfight), CBS (Channel 2) will broadcast (tape-delayed even more) the parade from a different point with Hannah Storm and Dave Price anchoring. LeAnn Rimes is scheduled to perform, and there will be production numbers from ``Fiddler on the Roof'' and ``The Producers.''

National Dog Show: John O'Hurley (J. Peterman in ``Seinfeld'') returns to broadcast this real ``Best in Show,'' but don't confuse this with the more well-known Westminster Dog Show from New York City. This two-hour special involves highlights from the dog show sponsored by the Philadelphia Kennel Club a couple of weeks ago. It also tosses in info on dog breeds and tips for dog owners. The event's chief sponsor is Nestle Purina Pet Care. Surprised?

Cartoons: Starting at 6 a.m. you can turn on Nick for the tykes. The kids network is running mini-marathons of its cartoons, including ``Rugrats,'' ``The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron'' and others. At noon, the Disney Channel begins a ``Lilo & Stitch'' marathon of 16 episodes.

Ugly things: At 9 a.m. Sci Fi Channel Sci Fi Channel may refer to:

007 rush: Spike! does a day of James Bond starting at 9 a.m. with ``Thunderball.''

Yada, yada, yada: Since Must-See Thursdays are a thing of the past, NBC (Channel 4) at 10 p.m. is serving up a bit of its old glory with ``The 'Seinfeld' Story,'' which looks at the sitcom's beginnings and coincidentally happens to be on the air just in time for release of the first three seasons of ``Seinfeld'' on DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.

Gal pals: Lifetime does a tribute to female buddies of '70 and '80 sitcoms such as Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams of ``Laverne & Shirley'' and the women of ``The Golden Girls.'' ``TV's Greatest Sidekicks'' airs at 10 p.m.

Speaking of the greatest: No, we're not talking Ali (the real greatest) here. Instead, it's ``The 100 Greatest TV Characters'' on Bravo at 9 p.m. This is a series, so we're only getting Nos. 21 through 40. Miss Piggy and Kermit are No. 34.

Sticky business: Just in time to promote ``Spider-Man 2,'' which comes out on DVD next Tuesday is the first movie. ``Spider-Man'' (2002), with Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, airs at 8 p.m. on Fox (Channel 11).
