FILIPINO EVENTS SET FOR TODAY AT STATION.

Opening ceremonies to kick off Philippine Heritage Month will take place today at the Glendale train station.

Starting at 10 a.m. at 400 W. Cerritos Ave., the event will feature ethnic music and dance, a visual arts visual arts nplartes fpl plásticas

Dignitaries scheduled to attend the event include Philippine Consul General consul general

After the kickoff, there will be a reception at Eagle Rock Community Cultural Center Eagle Rock Community Cultural Center, formerly known as the Eagle Rock Branch Library, is a building that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

It was first built in 1915 as the Eagle Rock Carnegie Library.[2].
