Since some of our field technicians have been outfitted with wireless PocketPCs which can connect to the Internet, they can also synchronize with the server from remote locations, thereby allowing capture of the data in near real time. In addition, with Adesso's built-in web services, we can seamlessly integrate and synchronize our corporate environmental database with the Adesso Server, which enables us to basically provide a very efficient way of capturing data in the field and having it populate our internal database that is used to generate final reports for our clients. Another benefit of the Adesso system is that we can do all of this at a relatively low cost, since the service is hosted by Adesso, meaning we did not have to purchase any additional hardware or software, just a per user license fee.
