FGEI website launched to help facilitate people.

RAWALPINDI, June 14, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Federal Government Educational Institutions Cantonment & Garrison has launched a website to help facilitate the public, providing complete information regarding admissions, recruitment and statistics about the schools and staff. The website address is www.fgei-cg.gov.pk , which provides complete information about 350 FG schools and collages set up throughout the 43 Cantonments and Garrison of the country, besides other information, admission and recruitment forms can also be down loaded and obtained through this website. A formal launching ceremony was held at the Directorate General of the Federal Government Educational Institutions Cantonment & Garrison of FGEICG here the other day, Brigadier Mohammad Asif, Director General FGEICG was the chief guest on the occasion. Besides others, Brigadier Fazal-e-Rabbi, Col. Tahir Butt and Major Atlas Khan also attended the ceremony. Addressing on the occasion, DG FGEICG Brigadier Asif said that purpose of the launching of this website was aimed at facilitating the people to provide complete information to them at their door steps regarding 350 educational institutions established throughout the country in 43 cantonments & Garrison, he added. Brigadier Asif said, like the past we have been trying to maintain the standard and quality of education being imparted at the FGEI institutions saying we tried to accommodate all the applicant students fulfilling the criterion and other requirement in providing them admission in our institutions. He said to accommodate maximum students in the FGEI; evening shift has been arranged at some 19 FG institutions of Rawalpindi region. He said the candidates and other people can benefit from the website, since it gives complete information, regarding educational policy of the FG Educational institutions and also particulars of the academic staff in these institutions.
