FESTIVAL TO OFFER FUN, HEALTH.

PALMDALE - Free health screenings, a petting zoo and live entertainment will be part of Saturday's Life Festival to be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pelona Vista Park, 37700 Tierra Subida Ave.

The festival is hosted by High Desert Medical Group, Heritage Health Care and California Desert Medical Group.

There will be health screenings for blood sugar, body fat analysis and blood pressure.

The Life Award will be presented to Lisa DeJaynes of Saddle Up, a therapeutic riding stable. Vendor booths, bingo bingo

Game of chance played with cards having a grid of numbered squares corresponding to numbered balls drawn at random. When a number on the card is drawn, the players cover that number (should they have it); the game is won by covering a certain number of squares in a row
 and food will be available all day.
