FEI and FEI Australia form partnership.


In a landmark event, FEI-U.S. and FEI-Australia have leaped over boundaries to form a partnership that brings the two organizations closer together. The two signed a Memorandum of Understanding A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a legal document describing a bilateral or multilateral agreement between parties. Members in both organizations will benefit from the partnership's four main objectives, which include: 1) furthering global advocacy for FEI professionals worldwide; 2) enhancing all FEl institutes' global network of financial professionals; 3) contributing to global content about foreign markets; and 4) creating partnerships and strategic alliances between both organizations.

The partnership also involves learning from each other through information-sharing about organizational structure and through publications. Certain of the FEI-U.S. Internet publications will be offered to FEI-Australia members for a set fee, as will Financial Executive.

In addition, all FEI-Australia members will be eligible to participate in several of the FEI-U.S. member services, such as: Member Value Program (MVP (Multimedia Video Processor) A high-speed DSP chip from Texas Instruments, introduced in 1994. Officially introduced as the TMS320C80, it combines RISC technology with the functionality of four DSPs on one chip. ), attendance at the Annual Sum mit at the U.S. member rate and access to teleconferences.
