FEI Financial Reporting Blog: expanded scope.

FEI's Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Blog has been renamed FEI FEI

Fédération Équestre Internationale.
Financial Reporting Blog, with a subtitle: Highlights from SEC, PCAOB PCAOB Public Company Accounting Oversight Board , FASB FASB

See: Financial Accounting Standards Board

FASB

See Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
 and IASB IASB

See International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
News--Including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Requirements. True to its name, the blog highlights key regulatory notices as they are announced.

The change in name reflects the evolution in scope of the blog, recognizing that the intent of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 is about reliable financial reporting. Thus, many current issues having to do with financial and regulatory reporting in the U.S. and abroad are of interest to those following the implementation of Section 404 and FEI members, generally.

Written (and researched) by FEI Director of Technical Policy Analysis Edith Orenstein, the blog highlights breaking news, along with analysis for financial executives. The blog also provides frequent cites to FEI positions in comment letters filed by FEI's Technical Committees and Congressional and regulatory testimony and links to other FEI resources.

Access the blog at www.fei.org/blog. And, you can sign up to get notices of the latest post by email, RSS (Really Simple Syndication) A syndication format that was developed by Netscape in 1999 and became very popular for aggregating updates to blogs and the news sites. RSS has also stood for "Rich Site Summary" and "RDF Site Summary.  or other feeds.
