HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE FEATURES)

It's a day-long party at the Outrigger outrigger, canoe-type vessel with a wood or bamboo float attached to the side of the craft and extending out over the water. The term outrigger also refers to the float itself.  Reef on the Beach in Waikiki, site of the weekly "Aloha Friday" ho'olaule'a (celebration)!

The Reef's Aloha Friday Hawaiian cultural events and activities are a celebration and sharing of the Islands' rich, unique history and culture through music, dance, educational demonstrations and art. A recent survey by the Travel Industry Association (TIA (1) (Telecommunications Industry Association, Arlington, VA, www.tiaonline.org) A membership organization founded in 1988 that sets telecommunications standards worldwide. It was originally an EIA working group that was spun off and merged with the U.S. ) found that 33 million U.S. adults attended a cultural event such as a theater, arts, or music festival while traveling during the past year. This indicates that cultural tourism is one of the more popular sectors of the travel industry.
