More than 330,000 people visit America's 384 National Parks each year.

Most visitors capture their experiences on film. The American flag waving above Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, Yellowstone National Park's geysers steaming at sunset and the dramatic rock formations at Zion National Park are all images visitors take away from visiting America's National Parks.

Long-time National Park Foundation partner Unilever, announces its fourth-annual Your Picture of America photo contest inviting amateur and recreational photographers to enter 35mm-format images taken in America's National Parks. The contest begins June 1, 2001 through July 31, 2001. All entries must be postmarked by midnight on July 31, 2001 and adhere to the official contest rules.

The contest is part of Unilever's seven-year $10 million partnership with the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. To date, Unilever's Recycling at Work program has donated sustainable lumber and funding to 75 National Parks.

The Your Picture of America photo contest provides an opportunity for people to join in and showcase their National Park experiences. A panel of judges will award one (1) grand prize a Kodak(R) DC5000 digital camera (APR:$500.00) and eleven (11) first prizes a one-year National Parks Pass (APR:$50.00). The winning photos will be printed in Unilever's seventh annual National Parks calendar distributed across the country and in National Parks.
