! What light through yon window breaks? It's the dawn of a new school year -- the perfect time to break out of the summer doldrums and make a fresh fashion start.

Fall 2002 is marked by a return to the romantic, bohemian fashions that flourished in the Sixties but have their roots in the Renaissance.

What's Olde Is New

Designer influences making their way from the runways to the hallways include ruffles For the plural of ruffle, see .
Ruffles is the name of a brand of ruffled potato chips produced by Frito-Lay. Its current official product slogan is "R-R-R-Ruffles Have Ridges!".There is a lot of different kinds of chips.
, lace, lace-ups, gauzy onion-skin fabrications, peasant looks and fluttery gypsy sleeves. 2. [Cambridge] Code which is inaccessible due to changes in other parts of the program. The preferred term in North America is dead code.
, but the style is more form-fitting -- more "athlete" than "slacker."

Tee-licious

Novelty T-shirts, now a teen wardrobe staple, are showing their staying power this fall. Included are the athletic-inspired designs as well as romantically tinged tees with lettuce edging and lace-up details by Self Esteem and Fang.
