A city of eastern Minnesota, a residential suburb of Minneapolis. Population: 57,300.
, Minn., has been increased 30% with a new super-fine layer-thickness setting. This high-speed model of the company's fused-deposition modeling (FDM) system can now build functional prototypes of ABS or polycarbonate A category of plastic materials used to make a myriad of products, including CDs and CD-ROMs.  with features as fine as 0.020 in., thanks to model-layer thicknesses as fine as 0.005 in. Japan's Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. helped Stratasys develop this capability so that Fuji could use the Maxum system to produce tiny, intricate components for pocket cameras.

Project manager Jeff Hanson Jeff Hanson (born 1978) is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist whose voice was described in a 2005 Paste review as an "angelic falsetto, a cross between Alison Krauss and Art Garfunkel that's often (understandably) mistaken for a female contralto.  says, "This resolution improvement goes hand in hand with our automated support-removal process, which dissolves the temporary supports so they don't have to be manually removed."
