) will take steps to improve standard of education in rural areas by appointing quality teachers and ensuring transport for female instructors coming from long distances. The institution in rural areas are facing shortage of teachers as most of the female teachers are reluctant to go to places far from their homes, an official of FDE said on Tuesday. Considering this genuine problem, teachers will be inducted from the area where they live and training courses will be arranged to improve their teaching standard, he added. The directorate will focus on teachers training to make a visible difference in schools in rural localities where students lack opportunities of mental and intellectual growth, he said. He maintained that the FDE has divided Islamabad into one urban and four rural sectors of Bhara Kahu, Nilore, Sihala and Tarnol for the purpose of better administration. The directorate has planned to establish two higher secondary schools in each sector under PC-I, the official said. For this purpose, a meeting of heads of all the sectors was held to discuss and thrash out thrash
