FDE announces Centralized Annual Examination result of Class V.
ISLAMABAD, 06 April, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- The result of Centralized Annual Examination of Class V for the session 2008-09 was announced today (Monday) by Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). According to the details, 2586 regular and private candidates were qualified out of 2717 and the pass percentage was 95.85. Among the boys, Said Tariq Balghari of Islamabad College for Boys (IMCB) F-8/4 secured first position, obtaining 585 marks out of 600. Ahmad Ali Khan from Islamabad College for Boys IMCB, G-10/4 obtained second position by securing 582 marks. However Muhammad Huzaifa of IMCB, F-8/4 stood at third with 580 marks. Among the girls, Aimen Aizaz of Islamabad College for Girls (ICG) F-6/2 secured first position with 582 marks. The second position was clinched by Javaria Shamshir of IMCG F-7/4 and Nawal Alvi of IMCG F-6/2 with 578 marks. While Zunaira Ahsan of IMCG, F-6/2 got third position with 576 marks. On the basis of grade point average, Islamabad Model College for Girls, Korang Town was declared as the best institution. While Islamabad Model College for Boys F-8/4 was declared as second and Islamabad Model College for Girls F-7/4 was announced as third best institution. On the basis of scholarship, Islamabad Model College for Boys F-8/4 was declared as best institution. Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-6/2 was announced as second and Islamabad Model College for Boys, G-10/4 was declared as the third best institution. Principal Islamabad College for Girls F-6/2, Shaista Peerzada talking to reporter said This year the result of class V remained far better than the previous year. The students of her college qualified with good grades and the college acquired great success achieving 98.53 percentage, Shaista said. The overall improvement in the performance of students is obvious from the result and the whole credit goes to the dedicated staff and hardworking students of Islamabad Model Colleges, she opined.
