The hands-on workshop is being administered by Ciba Specialty Chemicals' Ciba[R] Expert Services group. It will be held at Ciba's facility location in Tarrytown. Topics that will be covered include: practical approach to analytical methods to meet FDA food contact requirements; best approach to design analytical protocol for FDA notification; analytical strategy for new product notification to meet EPA's Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA TSCA Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 (15 USC) TSCA Traditional Small Craft Association (Mystic, CT, USA) TSCA Tibetan Spaniel Club of America TSCA Traditional Siamese Cat Association ); requirements for in-polymer analysis; and polymer raw material characterization A rather long and fancy word for analyzing a system or process and measuring its "characteristics." For example, a Web characterization would yield the number of current sites on the Web, types of sites, annual growth, etc. .
