). The Company can now offer the product for sale and use in the United States as a human dietary supplement.

Cyanotech produces BioXanthin from microalgae and believes it is the only dietary supplement containing astaxanthin that has been reviewed by the FDA.

Research has also shown that natural astaxanthin has up to 550 times the antioxidant activity of vitamin E and 10 times the antioxidant activity of beta-carotene.
