FC to escort NATO supply train from Sibi to Chaman.


CHAMAN, October 31, 2009 (Balochistan Times ): Personnel of Frontier Corps The 'Frontier Corps (FC) are a Federal paramiltary force manned mostly by people from the tribal areas and officered by officers from the Pakistan Army. The FC Stationed in the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) and Balochistan Province, are known as FC NWFP and FC Balochistan,  Balochistan would escort the train loaded with Nato supplies from Sibi to Chaman to ensure safe delivery of goods to Chaman, a Railway official said Saturday. The official further said that supply of some of the goods which include armoured vehicles armoured vehicle

It is worth mentioning, that trucks, oil tankers and containers hired by NATO forces See: force(s).  for their military and non-military supplies often come under attack in various parts of the province. The suspected militants often attack these vehicles killing their drivers or cleaners. Several vehicles have been bombed causing loss worth millions of rupees to goods loaded on them.
