FC Business Systems Wins Millennia Lite Information and Engineering Support Services Contract for Aircraft Structural Integrity Management Information System --ASIMIS-- Program Management Office, OC-ALC/ENFO.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- FCBS, along with subcontractor, Principal Technologies (PTI) won a new Millennia Lite Task worth over $4 Million for Information Technology and Engineering Support Services, supporting the U.S. Air Force Aircraft Structural Integrity program office, OC-ALC/ENFO at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. ASIMIS receives aircraft flight and stress data gathered during each mission, edits the information for accuracy and completeness, and then produces engineering reports for use by OC-ALC/ENFO engineers, Air Force Depot engineers, System Program Offices, and Major Command personnel.

The Aircraft Structural Integrity Management Information System (ASIMIS) office, OC-ALC/ENFO, is responsible for processing, analyzing, and storing aircraft structural integrity data generated through airborne flight data recorders, aircraft usage records, monitoring devices, and other maintenance data collection systems. Specifically this office supports 13 Air Force aircraft weapon systems providing accurate and timely data to the Air force concerning flight safety. The 13 weapon systems include the following aircraft: A10 close air support aircraft, B1 long-range bomber, B52 bomber, C5 heavy-cargo transport, C17 strategic airlift transport, E3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft, E4 National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) aircraft, F4 fighter-bomber, F15 tactical fighter, F16 fighter-attack aircraft, KC10 tanker-cargo aircraft, KC135 aerial refueling tanker, and T1A medium-range jet trainer.

In support of the ASIMIS and OC-ALC/ENFO, FCBS and subcontractor PTI will provide Information Technology and Engineering Support Services that include Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technician, System Administration, Database Administration, Software Design/Development, Web design, Program Management, and Administrative Support dynamically as our customer requirements change. In particular, the FCBS-PTI team will develop and maintain software, manage the hardware for the flight data recorder processing systems, receive input flight data from the aircraft operators, process the data, and report the results to ASIMIS customers.
