FBI offering reward in search for robber.

The FBI is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man suspected of robbing three banks during the past month in Eugene Eugene, city (1990 pop. 112,669), seat of Lane co., W Oregon, on the Willamette River; inc. 1862. The first robbery occurred April 21 when a man walked into the Northwest Community Credit Union located at 707 Waverly St. SE in Albany and demanded cash. He was seen leaving the credit union on foot with an undisclosed amount.

The second robbery occurred May 2 at the US Bank located at 1717 W. 7th in Eugene. The suspect approached three employees as they were opening an office detached de·tached

 from the main bank. He threatened the employees with a gun, but left on foot without getting any cash.

The third robbery occurred May 11 when the suspect walked into Liberty Bank at 1008 Harlow Road in Springfield. He demanded cash and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s with dark and graying hair, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds.
