The suspect is described as a Latino in his mid-20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build. He has dark brown or black hair and a goatee. ``He's peculiar in that he seems to be very apologetic in a lot of the bank robberies,'' Bosley said. ``In several of the robberies, he said, 'I'm sorry to have to do this to you. If you listen to me, I'm not going to hurt you.' ''

``But nevertheless, he's still robbing banks,'' she said.

The suspect was dubbed the ``To Go Bandit'' early on because he often asks the teller for a bag, like in a take-out restaurant.
