I love the lace-up look all the pop stars are wearing. How can I make it work for me?

Look for the latest lace-up effects in a classic fabric and style--leave the tight-fitting leather to Christina and Britney. Just remember to keep the rest of your outfit simple. The must-have accessory for spring is not only a favorite among celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, but it's also the easiest to make. All you need are some pretty silk flowers from the craft store (look for large open blooms), a pack of bar pins and some strong, clear glue. A hot glue gun works best. Just glue flower to pin, and hold in place until dry! Pin your creation on your shoulder, at the waist, on a hat or handbag, even on a cuff at the wrist. If you have a long neck, try pinning one to a sturdy ribbon to wear as a choker. But only use one bloom per pin--you don't want to look like you're a bouquet.

I've recently noticed some kids at the mall wearing what look like bowling shoes! Is this a new trend?

Rack 'em up! Ever since the look turned up on fashion runways last year, bowling-inspired shoes and bags are now everywhere in all colors and fabrics.
