FARMLAND BUILDS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOUSE.

Farmland Industries, Inc., Kansas City, Mo., sponsored construction of a Habitat for Humanity house during the Senior PGA Tour TD Waterhouse Championship, held in May at Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City. The public was able to watch the house construction throughout the week of the tournament. Plans were to move the house after the event to a different permanent location.

"Farmland is committed to being a community leader in Kansas City and a good neighbor in the Northland," says Bob Honse, Farmland president and CEO. "By partnering with Habitat for Humanity, we can make an impact in our new Northland neighborhood and help a family get back on its feet."
