FARMING: Deadline for Iacs claims.

The capital is Cardiff. have until May 15 to submit their Integrated Administration and Control System (Iacs) Area Aid Application for 2003, the Welsh Assembly Welsh Assembly n → Parlement gallois Government's Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department (Arad) has said.
Arad has begun distributing the Iacs Area Aid Application, together with the ``Completing your Iacs'' guidance notes and the Iacs rules booklet.
The 2003 Iacs Guide details the changes from the previous year. Applicants should pay particular attention to these changes and take extra care to ensure that their Iacs Area Aid Application is accurate and complete, since even small errors can be very costly.
Arad are in the final stages of consulting with farmers to map all of the agricultural field parcels and some of the field data which was not available at the time the forms were printed.
In the majority of cases, the data will be supplied on the maps produced by the exercise.
However, all applicants are still advised to check the information printed, amend as necessary and enter details of any missing fields, if they wish to include them as part of their application for 2003.
