Bromiley, daughter of Wayne and Debra Bromiley of Mojave and Deborah Bromiley of Lancaster, raised steer, pigs and lambs as well as working at Akal Animal Hospital. Castillo, daughter of Jose and Diana Castillo of Lancaster, raised steer, pigs, lambs and rabbits. Both credited their FFA adviser, Cindy Nelson, an agricultural teacher at Antelope Valley High School, in helping them attain their degrees. ``We couldn't have done it without the help and input that Mrs. Nelson gave us,'' said Castillo. ``Mrs. Nelson came to AVHS AVHS - Apple Valley High School (Minnesota) and encouraged students to strive and take chances in life,'' added Bromiley. ``She never gave up on us even when times got tough. She always stuck in and kept pushing us until we had accomplished our goal.''
