He was drafted in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. As of 2006, he is the Raiders' second-string running back.

Division III (or DIII) is a division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association of the United States.

Cuppari caught 72 passes for 1,227 yards and 22 touchdowns despite missing two games with an injured ankle.

``Coming into the year everybody knew he was going to be our go-to guy and he still put up the numbers,'' Westlake coach Jim Benkert said.

Westlake's Karl Holley, who is headed to Fresno State next fall, was named to the defensive team.

``His size (6-2, 220) is an asset, but his quickness is what gave people problems,'' Benkert said of Holley.

Palmdale's Matt Leonard was also named to the first-team All-Southern Section team, as were Holley (Westlake), Farrel (Newbury Park), Jerry Owens Jerry Lee Owens (born on February 16, 1981 in Hollywood, California) is a Major League Baseball outfielder currently with the Chicago White Sox. He played most of the 2006 season with the AAA Charlotte Knights (Chicago White Sox affiliation) of the International League, but was  (WR, Hart) and Cuppari (Westlake).

``He's a stud,'' said Littlerock coach Jim Bauer. ``They run most of their offense behind him. They had a heck of a season and he played a big role in that. They used him really well on both sides of the ball. None of the teams wanted to run at him.''

Highland's Brown, one of the top punters in the area, was also an effective place-kicker.

``If they got the ball inside the 50-yard line, they were almost in his field-goal range,'' said Bauer. ``If you punt them the ball and they get a couple of first downs, then they have a chance with his leg.''
