Top executives in hospitality and travel are joining with FAR&WIDE Travel Corporation to support the development of future industry leaders by serving as the selection committee to elect 2002 participants in FAR&WIDE's new "LEADERS OF TOMORROW" Internship program.

In response to travel agent feedback, FAR&WIDE is extending the application deadline for the new FAR&WIDE program to June 15, 2002. To date, approximately 50 percent of the applications received have come from travel agents family members.
Dr. John Bowen has over 27 years experience in hospitality education. In addition to his post as President of Johnson and Wales University Providence, Dr. Bowen currently serves as president of EUHOFA, an international association of hotel school directors. He is on the board of the Hospitality Industry International and serves as Chairman of the Mayor's Advisory Council on Business, Tourism, and Culture.
