) - Japanese health food and cosmetics manufacturer FANCL has announced the results of its recent research on kale kale, borecole (bôr`kōl), and collards, common names for nonheading, hardy types of cabbage (var.  juice.

The research has confirmed that a regular intake of kale juice helps alleviate the symptoms of atopic dermatitis. Specifically, it improves the skin's dryness of atopic dermatitis patients by increasing the moisture level of the keratinous keratinous /ke·rat·in·ous/ pertaining to or containing keratin.
