FALL TIME TO HAVE FUN 45,000 EXPECTED AT FESTIVAL IN A.V.Byline: Jim Skeen Staff Writer PALMDALE - More than 45,000 people are expected to attend Palmdale's 20th annual Fall Festival this Saturday and Sunday at Marie Kerr Park. Headlining the festival will be a Southern rock band, .38 Special, performing on Saturday. After the concert, there will be a new stage show, ``Illumination'' - featuring lighting effects, costumed dancers and wild props - and a fireworks fireworks: see pyrotechnics. fireworks Explosives or combustibles used for display. We have everything and the kitchen sink.'' The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Marie Kerr Park, 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. The annual event is moving from McAdam Park to Marie Kerr Park because the festival needs more room, city officials said. Singers, bands, dancers and other entertainers will perform on 11 stages.
