FAIR CHANGES TO ALLOW MORE TIME FOR FUN.

The Antelope Valley

The Community Stage, which showcases local talent, has been moved to the east lawn and renamed the Pepsi Community Stage.

A main entrance to the carnival will be between the Sage Pavilion and the Telecommunications Center A facility, normally serving more than one organization or terminal, responsible for transmission, receipt, acceptance, processing, and distribution of incoming and outgoing messages.  - the former site of the Community Stage - and will be lined with water misters to cool off the crowd.

The Sage Pavilion this year will contain the commercial exhibits vendors area. The Home Arts exhibits will be in the Challenger Memorial Center, allowing for more access and a cooler environment for exhibitors and visitors.

Reunion Park, the tree-shaded lawn just inside the main south entrance, has been designated the Foundation Health Senior Lawn. Bingo will be played daily at 5:30 p.m. (except for Sunday, Sept. 1, when it will be at 1 p.m.) on the Senior Stage.

A special presentation on the next generation of bingo technology will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Watch and Wager building. Electronic bingo will let players play up to 300 bingo cards Bingo cards are used to play various bingo games, including U.S. style bingo and UK style Housie. Cards are usually made of cardboard or non-reusable paper, but more and more bingo halls are beginning to use computerized cards.  simultaneously.

For the first time, the fair will host a daily parade that circles the fairground, led by a local high school marching band Noun 1. marching band - a band that marches (as in a parade) and plays music at the same time

. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m.
