OPTIMUS Corporation, a leader in public safety technology, today announced that it has been awarded a contract from the Federal Aviation Administration Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), component of the U.S. Department of Transportation that sets standards for the air-worthiness of all civilian aircraft, inspects and licenses them, and regulates civilian and military air traffic through its air traffic control  (FAA) to provide the various FAA organizations located at the Air Traffic Control Systems Command Center (ATCSCC ATCSCC Air Traffic Control System Command Center ) in Herndon, Virginia Herndon is a town in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The population was 21,655 at the 2000 census, which makes it the largest of three towns in the county.[1] History  - including the National Operations Division, with information technology services necessary to accomplish required automation processes.

Awarded under BITS II, OPTIMUS services will cover requirements for local and wide area network administration, including system configurations and enhancements, and future system integration and support for the ATCSCC. Additional services to be provided include administrative and financial analysis support.
