F&M DISTRIBUTORS EXERCISES OVERALLOTMENT OPTION WARREN, Mich., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- F&M Distributors, Inc.
(NASDAQ: FMD) announced today that Merrill Lynch & Co. has exercised its overallotment option available to it through the underwriting of F&M's initial public offering for the purchase of 444,000 shares of common stock from certain shareholders of the company. The shares were purchased on the same terms and conditions as the company's initial public offering of Oct. 1, 1992.
Headquartered in Warren, F&M Distributors, Inc. operates a chain of 116 deep-discount superstores in nine states including: Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin selling health and beauty aids, cosmetics and fragrances and household supplies.
