SECURITY cameras could be used as part of Calderdale Council's war on fly-tippers.

The cameras are just one measure the council is considering in the battle to clear up the district.

Every year the council spends thousands of pounds getting rid of illegally dumped waste.

Between April 2007 and January 2008, it spent pounds 107,000 cleaning up Calderdale.
