Dental assisting is a helping profession and there are so many ways that you as a dental assisting professional can help others ... ways in which your image as a professional is enhanced. There are many fine organizations arranging to provide dental care to those unable to access it in the usual way.

Have you heard about one of my favorites My Favorite is an independent synthpop band from Long Island, New York. They released two CDs: Love at Absolute Zero and Happiest Days of Our Lives. Program ambassadors will visit dental gatherings and distribute informational materials about NFDH to promote participation by dentists and other dental professionals and even to meet with vulnerable individuals who may be able to use the services of the program ... perhaps those in congregate con·gre·gate

Key to the enhancement of this program of Donated Dental Services is the dissemination of information to the dental profession and to potential users of the services. Personal communications with both groups is the key to its success and the basis of the ambassadors' mission.
