Networked audio, communications and security solutions provider Barix has launched its Exstreamer Ethernet network MP3 player.

The device lets users play MP3 files from a PC, the Internet or a digital audio server See digital media server.  over a stereo system. Exstreamer can be controlled remotely through any web browser and is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems.

Pricing for the Exstreamer product starts at USD149.
