ExproFuels Announces $150,000 LNG Conversion Order.SAN ANTONIO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1996--ExproFuels announced today that it had received a purchase order for $155,000 from Care Concepts, Inc., of Phoenix, Ariz., to convert 28 1997 Chrysler minivans to operate on liquefied natural gas liquefied natural gas: see under natural gas. (LNG). The company expects to complete the conversions within the 90 days of the vehicles' arrival in Phoenix. Upon completion, the vehicles will be placed in service by the City of Phoenix Valley Metro Transit System. Care Concepts manufactures specialty minivans designed to suit the needs of wheelchair users and the physically challenged. The company produces several styles of wheelchair accessible minivans intended to meet the needs of individual, retail and institutional markets, as well as government funded public transportation providers and has vehicles in service throughout the United States and several European countries. ExproFuels converts gasoline and diesel engines to operate on liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The company specialized in the design, construction and operation of alternative fuels storage and delivery systems. ExproFuels currently owns and operates 20 LPG motor fuel stations across Texas. ExproFuels also has conversion and fuel station fabrication facilities in San Antonio, vehicle conversion facilities in Dallas and Tucson, with additional affiliated conversion facilities in Houston and Phoenix.
