Expression Analysis Expands Affymetrix Capabilities.

DURHAM, N.C. -- Expression Analysis, the leading provider of regulatory compliant microarray processing services featuring the Affymetrix GeneChip(R) Brand technology, has concluded an upgrade of their laboratory systems to support the latest in Affymetrix high-content and specialty products.

"We've now completed the upgrade of our infrastructure to include the new Affymetrix 7G and MegAllele scanners, allowing us to process the newly released Affymetrix GeneChip(R) Exon Exon

In split genes, a portion that is included in the ribonucleic acid (RNA) transcript of a gene and survives processing of the RNA in the cell nucleus to become part of a spliced messenger RNA (mRNA) or structural RNA in the cell cytoplasm.
Arrays, the Affymetrix GeneChip 500K Mapping Array Set and the MegAllele DME-T assay developed by ParAllele," said Dr. Tom Goralski, Expression Analysis' Laboratory Director. "These advancements give investigators additional tools to further enhance their genomic research and development efforts," said Goralski.

The Affymetrix 7G GeneChip Scanner 3000 supports the analysis of microarrays capable of providing up to 500% more data than previous versions. The 500K Mapping Array Set greatly enhances the ability to support high density genotyping studies on a significantly reduced "cost per SNP SNP Scottish National Party
